Ingredients
- 250 gr minced meat
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 carrot
- 1 egg
- 50 gr walnut
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs or tiny bread slices
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cumin
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Cheddar cheese
- Hamburger bread
Preparation
Slice the carrot and make them small pieces with a kitchen robot. Pour the tiny sliced carrot in a bow. Chop walnuts into very small pieces almost like a powder with a kitchen robot and pour them in the same bow. Do the same for onion and garlics, too. Put the minced meat, egg, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, carrot, walnut, salt, pepper, cumin and olive oil in the same bow and mixe it by hand. If you have time, put the bow in a refrigerator for half an hour to have a better taste. Ingredients are shaped into hamburger patties, but not very thick. Roast patties in a non-stick pan till both sides become brown.
Cut lettuce thin, mix with some strained yogurt and turn it into a thick sauce. Apply the Lettuce sauce to hamburger breads. Roasted patties will be placed on top of this sauce. Finally put a slice of tomato and Cheddar on the pattie. Your healthy and delicious hamburger is ready.
Note: For children who does not like onions, garlic and/or spices, these ingredients can be omitted or reduced during the preparation time. A thin onion, pickled cucumber can be added onto the tomato, too. Our home-made Home-made hamburger bread is here for even a healthier meal.
